KTET 2017 Hall Ticket & Exam Pattern

There will be only on one paper in each category. All Questions will be Multiple Choice MCQs with four distracters. Each question carries on one marks. There will be four Options out of which one will be the correct answer. The Total Number of MCQs Shall is 150, and a total mark is 150.

For Category I (Lower Primary Teacher)

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Questions and 30 marks
  • Mathematics: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Environmental Studies: 30 Question and 30 Marks
  • Language I- Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Language II- English/Arbic: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Total Marks: 150

For Category II (Upper Primary Teacher

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Mathematics and Science: 60 Questions for Social Science Teacher and 60 Marks
  • Language I- Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/English: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Language II: other than Language I English/Malayalam: 30 Questions and 30 Marks
  • Total Marks: 150

For Category III (High School Teacher)

  • Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning and Teaching Aptitude: 40 Questions
  • Language I- Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/English: 30 Questions
